Our Founder: Moto-V was created as a passion project by Keaton A. Hays in 2018. He loves speed, beautiful machines and Green Technology.

Early years up to that point, he had dedicated over 3 decades to perfecting his craft of motorcycle repair, restoration and customization. Keaton began at age 8 as a mechanical prodigy fixing and customizing bicycles before graduating to motorcycles at age 11 when he met his step-father and classic British motorcycle authority, Alan Haggard. He worked in Alan’s business exporting and restoring classic British and Japanese motorcycles. At 19yo, Keaton attended the highest acclaimed motorcycle tech school, MMI where he graduated as the Dean’s List #1 with Top Student distinction.

He spent the next 9 years as a factory trained motorcycle technician. First as a Harley Davidson Master Tech, then as a Factory-Pro Suzuki Tech and also Triumph Factory Technician. Keaton began to work for himself as a custom bike builder and restoration specialist for the next 12years after the shop he worked for sold to new owners who closed it.

When Keaton retired from motorcycle technician work after 21 years as a professional, his attention turned to EV’s and he went back to college to attain his mechanical engineering degree. This led him to finding and being acquired by Rivian’s Battery Manufacturing Department. Over many years, Keaton learned a great deal and was able to hone his knowledge and understanding of EV technology and the extreme performance and excitement it provides while simultaneously delivering a greener future for all.

And now, Keaton is focusing his efforts to work for you. He assembled a team of experts to build for you his very best creations. It is Keaton’s hope that Moto-V’s machines fill you with passion and joy.
